St Andrews
The ultimate experience for many golfers is to play St Andrews Old Course. The magic and majesty of this iconic track is borne, quite literally, of the stuff of legends – golfing legends. If afforded the opportunity to walk and play over this special piece of land, which has been graced by the presence of almost every great golfing hero throughout history, the result is very often a dream come true. Despite its status, this prestigious golf course remains true to its Scottish roots operating as a public course, open to all who meet the handicap requirements.
The town of St Andrews is no less magical. As one of the most attractive medieval towns in Scotland it is a great place to base yourself and explore all things Scottish. The town comprises a wonderful mixture of the ancient, the old and the modern including sandy beaches, castle & cathedral ruins, the gravestones of Old Tom Morris & his son Young Tom, the British Golf Museum and the cobbled streets of the town centre where a wide range of shopping and dining options can be enjoyed.
If you are interested in visiting this charming and historic town please contact bookings@wordpress-764532-2697600.cloudwaysapps.com We are here to assist you in planning your adventure to the Home of Golf and have availability for guaranteed rounds on the Old Course.

Old Head of Kinsale in Ireland
The McHeadley Cup returned to Old Head again this year.
For the first time in McHeadley Society history a father & son finished 1st & 2nd in the biennial tournament. Austin Barkett was crowned the McHeadley Cup Champion in August & his proud father Ken Barkett was the runner up.
Old Head is one of the most dramatic locations for a golf course on the planet. On the 4th and final day of the tournament there was a storm brewing in the Atlantic & the conditions became too challenging for many of the players. Austin managed to keep his composure & finished in style with a birdie on 18. Well done Austin!
It was a great week in Kinsale & one of the many highlights was a live performance by the McHeadlans featuring Jimmy McCartney & Peter Cooper. The duo played to a full house at The Folk House, with fans of all ages turning out. The band put on a high-energy performance, kicking-off the evening with covers from the Rolling Stones & Pink Floyd.
